Lab Services

Virtual Laboratory Services

Conveniently access bloodwork and testing services from anywhere. Whether you are unable to visit a besa Health clinic or simply prefer the convenience of virtual appointments, our virtual services make it easy for you to get the care you need.

During your virtual appointment, your provider will assess your needs and determine if any labs or tests are necessary. If so, they will order them with our trusted lab partners. Once your lab test results are ready, they will be automatically sent to us, and your provider will share the results with you via chat.

We understand that convenience is important to our patients, which is why we have partnered with LabCorp to offer thousands of convenient locations nationwide. This means that no matter where you are located, there is likely a lab partner near you.

If you are an insured patient, it is important to check with your insurance provider to make sure your chosen laboratory provider is in-network prior to completing labs. This will help ensure that you receive the maximum coverage for your lab tests.

On-Site Laboratory Services

Our on-site laboratory services are available for a wide range of tests, including blood tests, urine tests, and more. Our trained and experienced clinical team are able to draw most tests onsite, ensuring accurate and efficient results. However, there are some tests that may require specialized equipment or procedures, and for those, we may need to send your lab order electronically to a LabCorp location that’s convenient for you.

It’s important to note that we can only order blood tests after you’ve been seen by your provider. This is because our providers need to assess your medical history and current health status before determining which tests are necessary for your care. Once your provider has determined the appropriate tests, we can then order them for you and have them done on-site or at a nearby lab location.

We also understand that healthcare costs are a concern for many patients. That’s why insured patients are reminded to check which lab provider(s) is/are in-network with their insurance. This means that you should check with your insurance provider to see which labs are covered under your plan. If you have any questions or concerns about this, our staff will be happy to assist you.

Lab Service Billing

You may be billed by an outside laboratory if specimens are processed by them, including specimens collected at our on-site clinic locations. If you receive a bill from a third-party facility, like a laboratory, it’s best to reach out to them first before contacting us. They usually are able to answer any questions you have about the bill. We encourage all of our patients to understand their healthcare coverage and benefits as much as possible before receiving care to make sure you have the correct expectations.
